Savannah Chasolen Douglas, daughter of Randy and Peggy Douglas of Jay, NY and Thomas John Therrien, son of Rodney Therrien of AuSable Forks, NY, and Christy Handley of Averill Park, NY were married on October 13, 2018.
The ceremony and reception was held at The Barn at Lord Howe Valley in Ticonderoga, NY with Dan Manning, godfather of the bride, officiating the beautiful outdoor ceremony.
The bride was attended by Alex Douglass and Kendra Manning as matron of honor and maid of honor respectively. Savannah's bridesmaids were Carrie Flagg, Meaghan Therrien, Giovanna Nelkin, and Jena Finnegan. The best men were Brody Douglass and Hank Whisher. Thomas' groomsmen were Shane Douglas, Connor Manning, Benjamin Burnes, and Nate Casey.
The bride and groom graduated from Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida. Thomas is employed at Clinton County Sheriff's Office as a school resource officer for AuSable Valley Central School. Savannah went to Plattsburgh State University to obtain her Masters in School Psychology. She is employed at Plattsburgh City School District as a school psychologist.
Shortly after the wedding, the couple moved to Plattsburgh, NY with their flower dog, Holly.
